Learn about Afterschool Ad Campaign

The media exert enormous influence over the way Americans think about their common culture, their politics, their communities, and their world.

Reaching media is, therefore, one of the best ways to get the word out about important issues like afterschool programs.

Here are two simple things you can do to increase media attention to the need for afterschool programs in your community and across America. By using our Action Center, you simply provide the text and we fill in the contact information for your local media. You can either send an email message immediately, or generate letters that you can print and mail.

1. Write a letter to the editor. Click here to get tips on writing a letter and a sample for you to review or adapt. Once you are ready, follow the directions to paste your letter in an automatic email or a personalized letter directed to newspaper editors in your area.
